£9 million Cornerstone development given green light

Planning approval has been granted to the Cornerstone development in Glasgow, designed by gm+ad, with construction due to commence later this year.

The new office building, by joint venture partners Kenmore and Ashford Property Group, will comprise of contemporary accommodation over a lower ground floor and six upper floors, with a double-height reception area, and will be the only Grade A office building in Glasgow city centre with floor plates of 3,250 sq ft.

Andrew Smith, spokesman for Ashford Property Group, said: "We are delighted to have received planning consent for this scheme and are pleased to now be in a position to proceed with our first joint venture project with Kenmore."
