Aberdeen International Business Park breaks ground
Work to deliver a new business park close to the city’s main airport has got underway with recently appointed M&E engineer NG Bailey set to move on site of a 400,000sq/ft BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rated development in the New Year.

Aberdeen International Business Park is being developed by Abstract with Keppie Design as architect with first phase works scheduled to complete in August 2014.

It will feature its own crèche, retail units and gym with plans for a 700,000sq/ft office space and four star hotel also on the cards.

Mike Darlington, managing director of NG Bailey’s engineering division, said: “This is one of the largest and most prestigious office parks currently being built in the UK, so we are delighted to be involved.

“We will be bringing our offsite manufacturing expertise to bear on this project, alongside our proven ability to deliver large and complex office developments to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard.”
