Construction begins on £5m Aberdeen homeless facility
Aberdeen City Council, in conjunction with Kier Construction, has conducted a sod-cutting ceremony on the site of a £5m homeless and support centre.

Situated on the site of the former Victoria House on West North Street the facility is scheduled for completion by autumn 2014 and will comprise a three storey block of 20 bedsits with en-suite showers for homeless vulnerable people - together with a ground floor kitchen, laundry, lounge and staff accommodation.

An additional 20 flats will be provided in a six storey adjoining block offering homes with up to four bedrooms.

Why Aberdeen? Why do you keep doing this?? Is it constantly 1999 in the council design office?
