Progress on Egyptian Halls

April 3 2007

The Egyptian Halls, designed by the legendary Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in 1853, will now begin its long overdue return to commercial sustainability.

The first stage of the £6million refurbishment project has begun with the issuing of tenders. The project will move on site in Autumn 2007 and will take about 18-months to complete.

The 2nd stage outfitting will begin October 2008. The refurbishment is being designed by The Morrison Partnership.
