Stirling Premier Inn granted planning consent
Plans to construct a 60 bed Premier Inn at in Stirling, have been approval, the latest phase of the Forthside regeneration plan.

Situated to the east of Stirling town centre the scheme has been designed by Lawrence McPherson Associates on behalf of Whitbread Plc for a site overlooking the River Forth.

Located on a former MOD site on the south bank of the river, the site boasts views out to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument.

Thus far development at Forthside has incorporated of two listed former MOD buildings alongside the construction of a new roads system and Vue Cinema.

The scheme is expected to commence construction in January 2013
