MacRoberts chairman given honorary RIAS fellowship
Neil Kelly, chairman of law firm MacRoberts and a specialist in construction law, has been awarded a RIAS honorary fellowship in recognition of his support of the Scottish architectural community.

Kelly has over 25 years’ experience of the construction industry, specifically dispute resolution in construction and civil engineering contracts.

Commenting on his accolade Kelly said:  “Architecture enriches the lives of all of us in a way that few other professions can achieve.   I am very honoured indeed that the Royal Incorporation has seen it fit to award me an Honorary Fellowship and I have accepted it with enormous pleasure.”

The President of RIAS, Sholto Humphries added: “Neil Kelly is an outstanding lawyer.   His passion and enthusiasm for the Arts is well known and his cultural range is immense.   He understands the contribution which architecture makes to Scottish society and has been immensely supportive of the work of the Incorporation in promoting that. “
