Wylie Shanks celebrate centenary
Wylie Shanks architects are celebrating their centenary year with publication of a centenary retrospective, a summary of the practice’s long history.

The practice has been responsible for a number of landmark buildings in its time, ranging in style from the 1920s Scottish Legal Building to the 1960s Glasgow College of Building and Printing.

Today the practice is active in the healthcare, education and conservation sectors, recently completing a refit of the former Govan Police Station into a business centre.

A civic reception will be held in the autumn at Glasgow City Chambers in which past and present employees of the practice will gather.
