Final call for entrants issued for VELUX Award
A final call has been issued by VELUX for entries to their international students of architecture competition – registration for which closes on March 1.

This year’s competition is themed on the “Light of Tomorrow” and is open to all students of architecture and their lecturers.

It seeks ways and means of expanding the boundaries of daylight in architecture, examining the social, sociological and environmental impact of the energy and light source.

Ten of the best submissions will be shortlisted for a chance of winning a £25k prize fund.

Elaine Baird, Marketing Manager at the VELUX Company Ltd, said: “The International VELUX Award seeks to challenge the future of daylight in the built environment, and celebrate ambitious students who push the boundaries. Entering, and undoubtedly winning the competition, shows drive and innovation and it’s a terrific opportunity for students to showcase their talent and determination on an international stage.”
