Low Carbon Building Award submission deadline looms
With the January 20 submissions deadline fast approaching for the Carbon Trust’s low carbon building awards entrants are being urged to submit their projects quickly – or risk missing out.

Entrants are invited to submit work for both new build and refurbishment categories for the annual award, now in its fifth year, in recognition of the contributions being made to carbon reduction efforts across the building industry.

Both awards will be judged on a range of criteria including project management arrangements, procurement processes, design features and the quality of the occupant experience.

Any building commissioned or delivered in Scotland since January 2010 is eligible for entry via the Carbon Trust website. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner to be held on 22 March 2012.

Further competition information, including an application form, can be obtained from the Carbon Trust or by emailing carbontrustbriefing@smarts.co.uk.
