Holmes confirm merger with Miller Partnership
Glasgow based Holmes Partnership has confirmed that it has merged its operations with that of the Miller Partnership.

Dubbed Holmes Miller the combined practice will secure the immediate employment of all staff ahead of the planned establishment of a joint venture practice in China to manage several projects in the Far East.

Holmes Miller will retain the identity of each of its constituent parts and will be based at Holmes existing offices at 89 Minerva Street, Glasgow.

Holmes Chairman Harry Phillips said: “The Miller team brings experience in depth of sectors not covered by Holmes, including sports stadia and social housing.  The merger of the two practices strengthens the long-term prospects for the new combined team.  We are enthusiastic about the increased opportunities that the merger brings”.

Robert Kennedy of Miller Partnership, added: “No nonsense Scottish business ethics combined with design flair focussed on client need distinguishes our services from most other organisations.  We are delighted to offer our clients a greater service than either practice could provide on its own.”

The merged practice will be formally incorporated on January 1, 2012.

So as to avoid confusion with the house building company Miller Homes.

My faith in the comments made on this website was given a shot in the arm by M's witty quip above.... only to find it was a shot of anthrax after seeing that business has returned to usual with a typically sarky, missing the joke, taking it all too seriously and being self important comment from 'N'... Presumably N for numpty.
