haa design complete Scotstoun House refurb
haa design has completed the refurbishment of Arup Scotland’s offices, Scotstoun House at South Queensferry.

Designed by Peter Fogo in the 1960s the listed pavilion had become unsuited to its tenants needs despite historical attachment.

Working with Historic Scotland however haa design has preserved the buildings essential nature as a pavilion in a park whilst extensively remodelling the fabric of the structure.

It now sports a large extension, allowing the space to meet the needs for flexibility demanded by the client whilst dragging the outdated facilities right up to speed with the award of a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
Despite the inherent limitations of working with an outdated 1960s structure, haa were able to achieve a BREEAM 'excellent' rating
