Henderson Loggie appointed as administrators to Clachan Construction
Perth based Clachan Construction Ltd have become the latest building firm to be forced into administration as tough market conditions persist in the construction sector.

Clachan had been involved in a number of projects in Perth and Stirling area, including Longannet Power Station and Arbroath Abbey visitor centre.

Receivers Henderson Loggie blame a “general downturn” in the construction industry for the firms failure and said that most, if not all, of the firms 200 staff are likely to lose their jobs.

Clachan follow a number of recent industry casualties including Hunter & Clark, John Dickie Homes, Chard and Watson Construction Group.
