Coventry opens the gate for Allies & Morrison masterplan

Friargate will occupy land opposite the city’s train station providing a physical link to Greyfriars Green via 25 separate buildings comprising 300,000m2 of office space, homes, retail, leisure and hotels.
Developer Cannon Cannon Kirk hopes to realise the plans over the next 10 to 15 years.
A motley collection of post war buildings will be swept away
A portion of the city's inner ring road will be decked over to provide additional green space
