Tram in trouble?

The proposed third tram line from Edinburgh Waverley to Newcraighall is in jeopardy after residents rejected the city council’s congestion charging plans that would have provided funding for the scheme. It was expected that charging would provide £750million worth of public transport investment over 20 years. The creation of Line 3 was dependent on congestion charging being accepted.Read next: £15m grant for Hadid Museum
