Arena Structures get on par at the Open

June 16 2009

The Open Official Hospitality has unveiled the Hospitality Village for this year’s event, fully staffed with "stylish hostesses" to cater for the corporate guests scheduled to attend the 138th Open Championship at Turnberry next month.

Temporary structure company Arena Structures have designed the Hospitality Village to recreate a clubhouse experience.

“This is the first year of us operating the entire contract and we wanted to invest more in the customer experience and ensure our clients continue to return to The Open in years to come,” said David MacCallum, Director of Sales for The Open Official Hospitality.

Ron Smith from Arena Structures said he wanted to create a lounge experience and a relaxing, clubhouse style environment.

"Windows will give panoramic views across the course and ensure the area complements its stunning surroundings,” he said.
