Elderpark Housing Association (EHA) and Anderson Bell Christie Architects are going back to school having lodged an application for the redevelopment of St Anthony’s, Govan Road, Glasgow.

The £13m development adjacent to the eponymous park will provide 106 homes and office space for EHA within a series of terraces, each massed in accordance with the importance of its position.

Constructed from facing brick and high pressure laminate the site is oriented towards Govan Road and the listed shipyard offices.  This is referenced as terminus of a north south vista through the site with a pedestrian passage providing direct interconnectivity.

To the south a series of feature gables will define the estates extremity.
